The branch would like to extend its condolences to the Nolan family Moybella Lisselton on the death of their dear sister Chrissy Nolan. Chrissy was one of the founding members of Ballydonoghue branch of Comhaltas. The Nolan family were known country wide for their music. I recall meeting Jackie Healy Rae up at the Dáil on a school trip and he spoke of the great Music session he attended in the Nolan house hold in Moybella. Chrissy's passion for the Irish language and music will live on in our memory.Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anaim.
The branch would like to wish all their members a very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.Over the Christmas break there will be an Irish Night In Brosnan's Bar Listowel on Monday the 28th December. It is always a great night everyone welcome. Music and Step dancing classes will resume in Lisselton school on January 15th. Set Dancing Classes resume on Saturday 10th January.
