SCOIL FONN & AMHRÁN 2018
- Slow Airs & Traditional Singing
- Slide & Polka Workshop
In conjunction with Comhairle na Mumhan, CCÉ Coiste Chontae Chiarraí will run Scoil Fonn workshops on Traditional Singing in English and Irish, and Slow Air playing.
We will also have a workshop on Sliabh Luachra Slide & Polka.
- The above workshops will be held on Saturday 14th April 2018 in the IT Tralee, North Campus, Tralee, Co. Kerry.
Registration from 10.30am.
Class: 11.00am – 12.30pm. Lunch 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm. Class: 1.30 pm – 3.00pm.
Tutors:
Slow airs on flute/whistle & fiddle: Anne & Nickey McAuliffe
Singing: Eibhlín Broderick
Slide & Polka: Colm Guilfoyle
- Participants may take part in either
- Slow air playing on Fiddle, Flute, Whistle or
- Amhránaíocht and English Singing or
- Sliabh Luachra music workshop.
- All age groups, including adults, are welcome.
- Please note that these workshops are not suitable for beginners.
- COST: €10.00 to include tuition and lunch.
