Fleadh Cheoil Chiarraí 2025
Kerry Comhaltas with the support from Down syndrome Ireland (DSI) are delighted to present the inaugural Cuimsiú Fleadh competition (County level only) for people with a disability/additional need. This is an opportunity to develop participation and enjoyment of traditional Irish music arts for everyone in Kerry. As this is the inaugural Cuimsiú competition, it is an opportunity for us to learn from this year's competition and to build on it. An adult support person must remain with the competitor throughout the Fleadh.
In the Cuimsiú competition the competitor can perform:
Musical Instrument entries: One traditional Irish tune per chosen instrument(s)
Amhránaíocht- Singing entries: One song in English or Irish.
