The A.G.M. for Filemore Comhaltas took place in Filemore Community Centre on Friday 16th October. All committee members were thanked for their hard-work during last year. Chairman Eugene O'Sullivan was re-elected as was vice chair Mary O'Connor, treasurer Carmel O'Connor, youth officer Michelle Clifford, Ofigeach Na Gaeilge Pat Garvey, Auditor Ted Garvey and Co. Board delegates Pat Garvey and Ted Garvey. Andrew Wynton has been elected as PRO as outgoing PRO Marian Cournane stepped down due to other commitments. Secretary Maureen O'Donnell has agreed to stay on for a few weeks until the branch can find someone new to step in.
Music lessons take place every Saturday from 12-1pm with Marian Cournane in Foilmore Community Centre and set dancing with Ina is at 7pm on Thursdays also in the community Centre.
