Comahaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann Craobh Cill Airne held their A.G.M. on Thursday 10th October in The Cultural Centre in Killarney. Cathaoirleach Eoin O’Carra welcomed everyone and said that the branch had a very successful year. The minutes were read by Runai Ann Mangan and adopted. Gerard Mangan Treasurer handed out copies of the financial report and read same.  Eoin O’ Carra Cathaoirleach congratulated and thanked all the dancers and musicians who brought home so many accolades at the Ceol an Gheimhridh, Sult, and the County & Munster and All-Ireland Fleadhanna Cheoil He said he was proud that our branch was so well represented again this year. He said they were all a credit to their families and that their success was testament to the hard work and dedication of the dancers, musicians and their teachers Eoin paid special tribute to teachers Ann, Triona, and Mairead Mangan for their skilled work and training both Set and Ceili dancers, he also lauded Maureen Hegarty and Norrie King for their teaching the Ceili dancers and Eta and Anna O’Connor for tutoring the over thirty fives. Thanking his hard working committee he said their help and support in the past year was much appreciated.  He paid special tribute to Runai Ann Mangan for her efficient work Also to Gerard Mangan Tuarascailan Chisteora and Joan Pollard Carew Turarascail an Oifig Caidrimh Poibli. Eoin thanked St Brendan’s College for the use of their facility for music classes. Eoin said he was delighted to congratulate Ennis on been selected to host The All Ireland Fleadh 2016 and also Tralee as the venue for Kerry Fleadh. Eoin also noted the change in dates for Kerry Fleadh May 19th to May 22nd.

Election of officers then ensued, Cathaoirleach Eoin O’ Carra, Leas Cathaoirleach Noel Grimes, Runai Ann Mangan, Cisteoir Gerard Mangan P.R. O. Joan Pollard Carew, Youth Officer Niamh Fenton, Auditor Maureen McMahon O’Leary. Delegates to County Board Ann Mangan and Eoin O’Carra, Treoiri na Gaeilge Eoin O’ Carra. Designated liaison person Eoin O’Carra.

Music/Singing competition in the IT College Tralee. 10.30 am Saturday the 14th November 2015. 
Dancing competition at 12.00am Sunday 15th November 2015 Fossa Community Centre.

Please note entries must be with our Runai Ann Mangan by 21st October. All entrants must be a fully paid up member.
