Ballylongford/Tarbert CCE
A large crowd attended the wonder display by our musicians, singers, dancers at the Annual Concert held in the Parish Hall Ballylongford on Friday 24th April. The crowd were entertained for over two and a half hours by the youngest beginners on tin whistles right up through the age groups in all instruments. We would like to send a special word of thanks to all the musicians, our sponsors, volunteers who helped in any way, parents, grandparents and all our supporters. A word of thanks also to Glantine Plearacha-Templeglantine Comhaltas for their performance, which went down a treat. Special word of thanks to all the teachers involved, to Ballylongford Enterprise for the use of the hall, and St. Oliver’s N.S. for the use of the school throughout the year. NOTE: Any member interested in taking part in Fleadh Cheoil Chiarraí competitions this year will need to inform us before May 15th. Members will need to inform us of their date of birth, details of instruments they are playing and competition category.
