The branch wish to express their condolences to the family of Helena Murphy, late of Kells. Helena was honorary president of our branch and had great passion for music, song and dance. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. We would like to thank Pat and Padraig Garvey, Maureen and Leanne O'Neill, Ellen and Caiti O'Sullivan and Marian Cournane who sang and played music at her funeral mass last Wednesday.
We are delighted that we were one of this years beneficiaries of the Knockaneden Wind Farm grant and with this money we are hoping to start an instrument bank Keep an eye on our Facebook for more upcoming news!
