Sult na n-Óg music competitions take place on Saturday and Sunday February 28th and March 1st. Entries for these competitions must be with our branch secretary Anne Mangan by Thursday February 5th.Contact Ann 087 9403508.
Music classes with Nicky and Anne McAuliffe have restarted after the Christmas break. Classes take place in St. Brendan's College on Saturdays from 5.30 p.m. onwards. More information from Eoin Ó Carra at 087-6155253. Our next branch meeting is 12th February at 9pm in The Cultural Centre, Killarney, new members welcome. Membership of this organisation will enable you to promote our national culture of traditional music, dance storytelling and our native language. Comhairle na Mumhan Comhaltas will be holding a provincial Sean-nós Dancing Seminar and Workshop on Sunday, Feb 8th 2015 from 11.30am-5.00pm in the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow to promote Sean-Nós Dancing throughout Munster.
