Listowel CCÉ Branch held an Open Day in the Seanchaí Centre on Saturday, September 13th from 2-4pm to launch an exciting programme of classes for 2014-2015. Music, dance and singing teachers were in attendance and provided information on the day.  Classes are being offered in accordion, concertina, fiddle, bodhrán, drums, mandolin, banjo, flute, tin whistle, piano & harp. Also available are Sean nós dancing, Step dancing and Set dancing classes, English singing, Irish singing & ballad singing. Storytelling, Recitation, Irish language, baby boogie (Irish themed) and preschool tin whistle classes are also being offered. Lessons are offered for beginners, children and adults, for small groups, for a fee of 5 euros per person. Advanced and private lessons will also available. Classes held on Saturdays and Wednesdays in Listowel in the Seanchaí Centre. Classes will also be held in Duagh. Enrolment still open until October. Registration required for commencement of classes.
