Grúpa Cheoil classes commence on Thursday 11th September between 3-4:30pm . These classes are for youngsters aged 9 to 17 who have been learning an instrument for at least two years and are interested in playing in concerts and competitions as part of a group.

A huge congratulations to Stephen O'Sullivan, Killorglin for achieving third place at the All Ireland Final held in Sligo at the weekend. Stephen was competing in U12 Mouth Organ and has been only learning the instrument for a year so this was a huge achievement. Congratulations also to his teacher Michael Kelliher from Fossa.

We would also like to again congratulate the Grúpa Cheoil who finished out their year with a bang at Puck Fair. These youngsters aged only 9 to 12 entertained a large crowd at Library Place on the Sunday. Thank you to Deirdre Keane their coach, to Spraoi Chiarraí for helping us out with amplification and also to the Puck Fair committee who were very helpful and encouraging.
