The weekly Seisiúin Cheoil at Kilcooly's Ballybunion is going from strength to strength. Following the resounding success of the Miriam O'Callaghan and Katie Hannon night last week, this week the group were joined in the open-mic session by Brian Murphy, all- Ireland Scór winner from Causeway (poaching for entertainment purposes only, not for competition!), and several of the participants from the Ballybunion Run, who had forgotten to go home and managed to catch a breath to blast out some great songs and music. We were joined by folk from as far away as County Cavan. We are now in the throws of planning our leg of the Concert Tour of Ireland, which takes place on the October Bank Holiday Weekend. Further details will be announced at a later date.
