There are some places available on the Traditional Singing Class with Catherine Murphy (Broderick) on Tuesday’s from 7.30 pm to 8.30pm at The Rambling House in Brosna. The classes are open to children, teenagers and adults. Traditional Music Classes with Philip Shine have also commenced on Thursday’s at The Rambling House in Brosna. A class for beginners takes place at 7.00pm one for more advanced at 7.30pm and a class for beginner’s in button accordian which includes adults, teenagers & children takes place at 8pm. Please note upcoming Ceilí and Sean Nós dance competition in Fossa Hall, Killarney on Sunday May 18th. Deadline for entries is Thursday May 1st. Enquiries to Anne-Marie Nelligan on 0863818502. Scoil Fonn & Amhrán workshops will be held on Saturday April 5th 2014 at the North Campus of the Institute of Technology Tralee. Registration will take place at 11am. The workshop commences at 11.30am, lunch is from 1pm – 2pm and the workshop continues from 2pm – 3.30pm. Tutors on the day include Nicky Mc Auliffe fiddle, Ann Mc Auliffe flute & tin-whistle and Catherine Murphy (Broderick) singing.
