WEEKLY SESSION: We meet every Tuesday for our branch sessions/classes: ó 5.30pm
i nGaelcholáiste Chiarraí, An Chluain Mhór (beside Lee Strand Creameries). Like to join one of our classes or just come and play or sing…seanóirí, adults, teenagers, youngsters. For music or song, just come along…any Tuesday from 13th January!
PLAY at MASS: Music at Vigil Mass in St Brendan’s Church: branch members and others will continue to play or sing EVERY Saturday at 6.30pm. Like to take part and be on our rota or be part of a group….fáilte roimh cheoltóirí/amhránaithe eile.
MUSIC of WINTER: (i) Ceol an Gheimhridh (Ciarraí) will take place at Dúchas, MTU, on Saturday 17th January. Have a go! The following are the age categories: iomaitheoirí faoi 11 (aon bhliain déag d’aois); iomaitheoirí idir 11 agus 14 (idir aon bhliain déag d’aois agus ceithre bliana déag d’aois). Best wishes to all participators. (ii) Ceol an Gheimhridh (An Mhumhain) will take place on Saturday 14th/15th February.
KERRY SCHOOL of TUNES: Scoil Fonn Chiarraí will take place on Saturday 7th February. Come along to the Kerry School of Tunes.
ENJOYMENT of YOUTH: Sult na nÓg will take place on 7th March.
KERRY MUSIC FEAST: (i) Beidh Fleá Cheoil Chiarraí ar siúl ar 17ú (rince), 23ú agus 24ú (ceol, amhránaíocht, scéalaíocht) Bealtaine. (ii) Beidh Fleá na Mumhan sna Déise. (iii) Beidh Fleá na hÉireann i mBéal Feirste ó 2ú go dtí 9th Lúnasa. [Placename: Béal Feirste = the Mouth of the Ridge of Sand in a Tidal Ford].
