CCÉ LEAC SNÁMHA 

We are so proud of all who represented our branch in fleadh na hÉireann and huge congratulations to Aisling Doran who took 1st place in U12 accompaniment and to our teacher Donagh McElligott who came 2nd in senior concertina and 3rd place with the Drombeg senior ceili band. As our summer is coming to an end our year ahead begins with our registration and information night on Friday August 30th 7-8.30 pm in the ceolann centre, Lixnaw. As usual we will have classes available in traditional music, covering all instruments, step and sean nós dancing, adult music and comhrá gaeilge. Instruments will be available for hire and classes will begin in week of September 2nd. We will be there to help with any queries on the registration night or phone 087 6979334. Our aim as a comhaltas branch is to teach and pass on our traditions of music, song, dance and our Irish language. We continue to achieve this through the work of our comhaltas teachers, dedicated committee, parents and of course enthusiastic young members and also our large band of volunteers who never fail to deliver. We appreciate the huge input from all sides and welcome you on board for another ceolann year. Go rabid míle maith agaibh go léir, bígí linn.
