Killarney branch of Comhaltas are delighted to wish a happy new year to all our members’ friends and supporters. Now that the Christmas celebrations are all over we can focus and look forward to a bright new year of events. Set dancing classes resume in The Torc Hotel on Monday 13^th January 8.30 pm to 10 pm, beginners 7.30to 8.30 all welcome. This class is celebrating over twenty years under the accomplished dance tutor Ann Mangan, contact Ann 087 9403508.

Music classes resume in St Brendan’s College on Saturday 11^th January.

Important dates for your diary:

Sult na nOg dates 7^th and 8^th March, all who wish to compete must have their entries with our honorary secretary Ann Mangan by 1^st February.

Munster final Ceol an Gheimhridh will be held on 16^th February in Hazelwood College Dromcollier Co Limerick.

Munster convention 2020 will be hosted in The Hibernian Hotel Mallow date to be confirmed.

National Congress 2020 Culturlann na hEireann, Baile Atha Cliath 2^nd and 3^rd May.

Fleadh Cheoil Chiarrai 2020 hosted again this year in Milltown 17^th to 21st June

 Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan Newcastle West Co Limerick 13^th to 19th  July

Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann Mullingar Co Westmeath 2^nd to 9^th August.

Our next branch meeting will be held in The Meeting Rooms Park Road on Tuesday 21^st January at 9 pm new members welcome.
