Ballydonoghue/Lisselton CCÉ notes.
23 young talented young musicians have qualified from our branch to compete at the  Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Drogheda 2018.It takes place 13th-20th August. They faught off tough competition at the Munster Fleadh in Ennis last July. Its a huge honour for them to represent their branch, county and provence. They have worked very hard to be in the All Ireland. They will be up against competitors from the four provence of Ireland,Britain and US in each of their competitions

The Groupa Cheoil U12 -15 is made up 20 musicians. This group will perform an 8 minutes arrangement and will be judged on this performance. They are a very dedicated and committed group along with great supportive parents. They came close in the past, receiving 3rd place last year in the Munster .However they came back stronger this year winning the Munster.
To play in such a prestigious competition don't come around too often.Ballydonoghue/Lisselton CCE are no strangers to All Ireland glory in the past having won All Irelands U15-18 and Senior Groupa Cheoil and came 2nd U12 - 15 back in 1993.So hopefully we can do it this year in this age category.
