A new Comhaltas year is about to commence. Craobh Thrá Lí’s weekly classes will begin on September 26th (Dé Máirt) in Galecholáiste Chiarraí ag 6.30pm (beginners). Fáilte mhór roimh cheoltóirí nua. Beidh Ciarán Ó Flaibhín i bhfeighil i gcónaí.
Our Cruinniú Cinn Bhliana (AGM) will be held on October 3rd ag 7pm. All welcome; and new faces at coiste level would be most welcome.

15th September: a lecture will be given at 8pm in Óstán Meadowlands by Robert Schmuhl,University of Notre Dame, on ‘Saving Roger Casement: The Exiled Children’s Misplaced Trust’. An introductory talk on Tomás Ághas (Thomas Ashe) will be given by Dr Tim Horgan. Fáilte roimh chách.
25thSeptember: an event to commemorate Tomás Ághas (Thomas Ashe) will take place at 8pm on Monday, September 25, the centenary of his death. Atorchlight parade will go from Ashe Street to the Ashe Memorial building in Denny Street where a wreath will be laid by Mayor Norma Foley and an oration will be delivered by Owen O’Shea, communications officer with Kerry County Council.
