CON CURTIN TRADTIONAL FESTIVAL
The Con Curtin traditional festival will take place in Brosna on Friday 23rd June to Sunday 25th June. Events for the weekend include Concert with Raw Bar Collective Band, workshops, recitals, set céilí and street entertainment. FEIS LAITIARAIN
Feis Laitiarain Cuilinn Uí Chaoimh will be held in Cullen GAA Grounds on Sunday, June 25th starting at 12 noon. Competitions in singing, music, sports, set dancing, poetry & Sean-Nós Dancing.
MUNSTER FLEADH
Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2017 are holding a Street Entertainment Competition on Friday, July 21st from 6-8pm in Cork City. There will be two age-groups - 9-13yrs and Over 13 years. Each group can have between 3-6 members and you must perform for between 20-30 mins at an assigned location and time in the Fleadh village on Oliver Plunkett Street. There is a total prize-fund of €900 which has been kindly sponsored by the The Shack Store. The two winning groups will also have the opportunity to perform on the Fleadh gig-rig on the Grand Parade. There is an entry fee of €5 per group and Advance entry is required for this competition by the closing date of Fri, July 14th.
