Gach dea-ghuí ar Mháire Uí Ghríofa atá ag caitheamh seala i dTigh Banaltrais ‘Ashborough Lodge’, Bóthar Ladhair, Baile an Mhuilinn. (vi) TRALEE and KERRY can boast of a representative in the Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann ‘Tour of Ireland’ Concert last week in ‘Siamsa Tíre’! 350 people filled Ireland's National Folk Theatre and enjoyed 3 hours of high quality traditional music by Ireland’s best. Among the group was a young talented musician and composer who attended many Austin Stack Club summer camps while on holidays with his family in St Brendan’s Park. Ciarán Mac Gearailt is ainm dó. His dad is Eoin Mac Gearailt and his athair críonna was the late John Fitzgerald, whose party-piece was to dance The Blackbird. Interestingly, all three were chosen on various â€˜Tour of Ireland’ groups down thro' the years.....3 generations on CCÉ tours....a 'record'?? Eoin and John were always faithful to our music and language! Is é an dála céanna é le Ciarán ‘Gealgháireach’ Mac Gearailt.....grá mór aige do cheol agus do theanga na tíre!
