CCE NOTES

The Ballydonoghue lisselton CCE branch will hold there AGM next Sunday 9th October in lisselton school at 7.00pm.All welcome. It is important that everyone pays there membership by Friday 7th October.Entries for Ceoil an Geimhreadh must be with branch sectrary by Friday night. The competitions are singing,Reed,Wind,String,Duet, Quartet Under 13 and under 17. Competition will take place in middle of November. 

A great night  of Irish music was held last Friday  night in Kilcooleys Bar Ballybunion at the opening Jack Lyons and Jimmy Fitzgerald weekend..Senior All ireland Fiddle champion Darragh Curtin from Brosna opened the night.He gave an exhibition of top class entertainment.Over 25 musicians from Ballydonoghue  sat down and played with Darragh.Darragh also played with the Cnoc an Ór, Senior Ceilie Band at this year Fleadh Cheoil.It was a very memorable occasion  for our young musicians.Thank you to all the parents who brought their children to this special event.
