The Foilmore CCE Children's Ceili held on Sunday 25th September at Cáitin's Pub, Kell's was a great success. A big thank you from the committee to all musicians and dancers who participated and to all those who came to support this event. Sincere thanks to Jack Golden and the staff in Cáitin's for looking after us and for your, as always, great hospitality. A big thanks to our MC for the evening Neil O’Donnell, for the music and keeping the show going.
A presentation took place to the outgoing Chairman Eugene O’Sullivan, Vice Chairperson Mary O’Connor and Secretary Maureen O’Donnell, who are standing down from their respective roles. Sincere thanks from the Foilmore CCE committee for your years of hard work, encouragement and assistance. We wish you all well in the future.
Our AGM is scheduled to take place on Friday 30th September at 9pm in the Community Centre. Please attend the AGM if you are interested in becoming involved in the Committee.
Please note next years Fleadh Cheoil Ciarraà is scheduled to take place in Tralee on the 18th - 21st May 2017.
Macalla na hÉireann - 2016 Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland takes place in Siamsa Tire, Tralee, on 18th October.
