BALLYLONGFORD/TARBERT C.C.E.: What a marvellous weekend it has been for Timmy Flaherty a member of the Ballylongford/Tarbert CCE Branch who had phenomenal success at Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Ennis where he continued in his successful ways in achieving not one but four All Ireland successes. Timmy’s achievement in the All-Ireland Fleadh, included 4 All-Ireland medals, winning Gold on Mandolin and Banjo and Silver and Bronze on Uillean Pipes. Well done Timmy and sincerest congratulations to both you and your family on such a wonderful achievement. Congratulations also to Brian Scanlon (one of our talented teachers) who came second in the Banjo and again well done on your success. To all Kerry Medal Winners and indeed all those who competed we extend our congratulations to you.
