Series starting on Friday 22nd January at 8.30pm
Fleadh Cheoil is a series of six television programmes from the Sligo Fleadh Cheoil presented by John Creedon and Aoibhinn Nà Shuilleabháin.
The annual Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann returned to Sligo for a second consecutive year.
The series will showcase a host of musicians and singers who attended the Fleadh including Kieran Hanrahan, Seamus Begley, John Spillane, OisÃn MacDiarmada, Michael Rooney, John Wynne, John McEvoy, Mick, Louise and Michelle Mulcahy, Daire Bracken, Tom Doorley, Dylan Foley, Philip Duffy, Liam Kelly, Damien Stenson, Dan Brouder, Angelina Carberry, Leonard Barry, Matt Cunningham, Gerry O’Connor, Martin Quinn and CaitlÃn Nic Gabhann.
Among the groups featured are Danú, Boys of the Lough, The Unwanted, The Trà Tones, FourWinds, Seven Glens, Cúig, JigJam and LOKI.
The programmes will also include a visit to Scoil Éigse, the Scoil Éigse Tutors Concert and competitions including The Senior Céilà Band Competition.
