Details of the 2015 Comhaltas TTCT Teacher's Diploma Course which will take place in the Cultúrlann in Dublin from October 27th-31st. The course is directed by Martin Power and applications are now being accepted for the 2015 course.
This week-long course/examination will reinforce teacher's instrumental knowledge with an in-depth look at music theory and history, along with teaching technique and pedagogy. Teachers will be evaluated on their teaching ability in a real-world classroom environment and on submission of an essay exam. Teachers passing the course are awarded the TTCT Diploma, identifying you as one of the premier teachers of traditional music. It is essential that all candidates applying for the course have some prior experience of music teaching
