Thanks to all who supported our Easter Raffle at The Village Inn which was a very enjoyable and successful evening. The three prize winners were Liam O'Mahony, Theresa O'Leary and Ciara Murphy who each took home a fabulous Easter Hamper. A great night of ceol agus craic was had which raised much needed funds for our Branch!

Our next Branch meeting will be held on Tues 19th May at 8.30pm in the Rural Development Office. All members are asked to attend if possible. Anyone interested in joining our Branch is also very welcome to attend.

Our next monthly music session is this Sun 26th April at 2.30 to 5pm in Kilcummin Recreational Hall. Again all newcomers very welcome! Refreshments available for all!  This is a very relaxed get together where all will be able to run out a tune or two and get used to playing for other people without the pressure of competition! We aim to start with complete beginners i.e. children who have started to learn their first musical instrument at School or music class at 2.30pm to 3pm moving onto intermediate players at 3pm to 4pm and finishing with advanced players from 4pm to 5pm but all are welcome to stay for as long as you like to listen to the other musicians. For more information contact Mike McGurl (Chairperson) on 087-666-2707 or Mags Connolly (PRO) on 087-696-1681.

Deadline for County Fleadh entries is Tues 12th May. Please send all entries to Marguerite O'Connor (Branch Secretary) by this date. The draft timetable is now available on kerrycomhaltas.ie

Wishing the very best of luck to our member John (Dan) Connolly who has taken up the position of Music Tutor with Comhaltas Schools Outreach. We hope many more of our children will be introduced to our wonderful musical culture through this programme.
