We extend our sympathies to Ann Marie Walsh assistant secretary Kerry CCÉ (nee McCarron) and the extended family, on the death of Michael McCarron Listowel. Michael was a strong supporter of Comhaltas and of traditional music.

All members please note our branch AGM will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 9 pm. in the meeting room on Park Road.

 

 Get fit keep fit and stay in tune now that the evenings are closing in and the season of autumn is upon us the following items will keep you fit and in tune with our culture.

 

 Set Dancing classes resume in The Torc Hotel Mallow road this Monday 1st October, beginners 7.30 pm, improvers 8.30 pm, contact Anne  087 9403508

 

Music classes recommence on Saturday 13th October in St Brendan’s College from 6.00 pm

Concert Tour of Ireland will visit Kilcummin this year, the performance will be held on Thursday 18th October at 8 pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kilcummin. 

Annual Torc Set Dancing weekend 16 to 18th November Three ceilis, and three Set Dancing workshops contact Joan 086 8718819.

 

Dates and venues have been set for Ceol an Gheimhridh. IT North Campus Tralee will house music, singing, scealaiocht and storytelling on Saturday 17th November at 10.30am

Fossa Community Centre Killarney will house set and ceili dancing on Sunday at 10.30am.   Entries should be with our branch secretary by Saturday 20th October.
