WRENBOYS

A huge group of musicians, singers, dancers and story tellers  took to the stage last Friday night at the annual Wren boys outing in Listowel.

What a great night we had and it was great to have so many friends and neighbours join us for this fun filled occasion. It was a great community effort so thanks to everyone involved.

Also congratulations to Frances Kennedy, Bean an Tí, who won the Vincent McDevitt memorial shield, an award presented for the outstanding item in the All Ireland wren boy final.

CULTURE NIGHT

Will take place this coming Friday night, 21st, in the Hibernian Bar @ 8pm. Please come along for a few hours of music, song and dance.

CLASSES

These are times for beginners classes only. All other classes will receive times by text

All classes are set to commence this coming week

Monday 17th Set dancing, Tuesday 18th Step & figure dancing at 6pm.

Music - Beginners

Thursday 20th Flute at 4 pm, Concertina at 4.30pm, Fiddle at 4.45pm, Tin Whistle at 5.35pm, Mandolin and Banjo at 6pm

Friday 21st Accordion at 5.30pm.

Sat 22nd - Guitar and singing 12.30pm, Singing only 2pm.

Sat 22nd Bodhran at 1.15pm, Drums 12.45pm.
