Ballydonoghue CCÈ set dancers travelled to Fossa Community Centre on Sunday last to take part in the Sult na nÒg county finals. Huge entries proved that the standard was always going to be high and that our 4 teams would have to be at their best to try and get anything from their travels. The day started early in the morning and our U9's ladies took the stage and in a very tight competition brought home bronze medals. A great result for these young ladies. In our next competition our U11 ladies were always in control as they put on a sterling performance to capture the gold medal. These ladies certainly deserved their title. Next came our U11 mixed team and again this group danced brilliantly and were just pipped for the county title. Getting silver at county is a great achievement and they must commended for their performance. Last up after a long day and a long wait as competitions over ran our U13 ladies danced first in their competition and put on a super performance to put pressure on the teams coming after them. In the end our girls could not be caught and came home with another county  title for Ballydonoghue. So a very successful day for our dancers with 2 gold 1 silver and 1 bronze coming back to North Kerry. The following were the dancers. U9 ladies Niamh Mulvihill Amy Mahony Grace Hegarty Ruth Foley Laura Dalton Sarah Cox Sinead Costello Sinead Barry and Grace Walsh. U11 Ladies Audrey Ryan Grace Heffernan Sine Fogarty Shauna Carey Aoibheann Buckley Edel Dillane Orla Mahony and Sarah Murphy.
