Congratulations and well done to all our branch members who participated in and brought home accolades from Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann. A full list of winners will be published in next week’s notes.
We are delighted to congratulate Maura Walsh Lixnaw CCE who received her Bardic award in Ennis on Tuesday evening last as part of Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2017.
Celtic Steps the Show returns to the INEC for a special live show and recording of their new DVD on Thursday 24th of August from 7.30pm. Up and coming band The Rising will join them. Don't miss out on a fantastic night of music, song and dance .Tickets available from www.CelticSteps.ie
The next music session in The Parish Hall, will be on Saturday 10th September from 6pm to 8pm. This venture has proven to be a huge success, with different musicians leading the group each month, all welcome (although not suitable for beginners). Come along and join this fantastic evening celebrating our traditional music where all ages share their tunes and learn from each other. The sessions will continue to be held on the second Saturday of the month.
