Our AGM will be held on Thursday 13th October at 9pm .The venue for this meeting is The Meeting Room beside the Church of the Resurrection (Park Road). It is imperative that all members attend as we will be discussing our plans for the year ahead. New members welcome Comhaltas promotes all of our culture, music, song, dance, storytelling and our native language. Be part of this fantastic organisation and help foster love of our unique culture and identity. We are delighted to congratulate Tralee who have been selected again  to host Fleadh Cheoil Chiarrai 2017 dates confirmed 18th to 21st May.

Sincere congratulations to Runaí na Mumhan, Assunta Uí Chathasaigh who received the annual Gradam award at a very special weekend of celebrations at the Cultúrlann last weekend. Assunta was awarded this accolade in recognition of her many years of dedicated voluntary service to the promotion of Comhaltas and of our Irish traditional music, dance, song and culture. The huge numbers of CCÉ members, musicians and friends which gathered in Dublin over the weekend to pay tribute to and celebrate with Assunta shows the high regard and esteem in which she is held by everyone in the Comhaltas family

September in Spa clubhouse. The Torc Hotel Mallow road set dancing resumes on Monday 3rd October beginners 7.30pm to 8.30pm, improvers 8.30pm to 10.30. pm contact Ann 087 9403508.  Music classes with Nicki and Ann McAuliffe are starting back in St Brendan’s College Saturday 8th October at 6pm.
