 We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to John Stack and his family on the death of his father Patrick Stack, also sympathy to Breda O’Sullivan and family on the recent death of Michael (Mick) O’ Sullivan.

Our   open air show “The Rising”   in front of the courthouse on Friday night to mark culture night was a huge success. Thanks to all who participated and our wonderful audience. Kerry County Council and Comhaltas Chiarrai also hosted  a free ceili, in Fossa Community Centre, A large gathering of dancers danced the night away to the magical  music of Kenmare’s’  Ui Bhriain Duo. Get you’re dancing shoes ready   set dancing classes recommencing as follows Club Rince Ni Mhangain Thursday 22nd September in Spa clubhouse.

  The Torc Hotel Mallow road set dancing resumes on Monday 3rdOctober beginners 7.30pm to 8.30pm, improvers 8.30pm to 10.30. pm contact Ann 087 9403508.  Music classes with Nicki and Ann McAuliffe are starting back in St Brendan’s College Saturday 8th October at 6pm.  Our annual Church gate collection dates are 24th and 25th September all members are invited to get involved

Thursday 13th October is the date for our branch AGM. It is very important that all members attend as we will be discussing our plans for the year ahead. Venue for this meeting will be clarified nearer the date.  Become a member of Comhaltas the organisation that promotes all of our culture, music, song, dance, storytelling and our native language.
